So glad I tried this release! The last few Zombi albums went into some dance-beat territory ,and stayed there. NOT on this album! The above hype is true. "Direct Inject" sounds like their most accomplished album, it flows through many styles and tracks mutate through different genres. There are touches of fusion , dark synth, and many of the styles that featured in the late 1970's - early '80's soundtracks of horror movies. This is Zombi FULL GROWN!
