Like most everyone outside of Switzerland, I first heard of Nik Bärtsch via his releases with his band Ronin, when he signed with ECM.
But he has been at it for a long time and he has a number of ensembles besides Ronin.
Mobile is a larger band than Ronin with a string quintet!

Nik Bärtsch is one of the very few artists left in my old age that I will simply buy because he never disappoints me! And this one is absolutely fantastic.
