One of the least known bands who recorded for Deram's progressive subsidiary Nova and who released this, their one and only release in 1970. Surprisingly, the group started their life with Simon Kirk and Paul Kossoff in the group before they left to form Free. The rest of the band stayed together and developed into a guitarless quartet, probably realizing that they'd never be able to top Kossoff! They were a quartet of vocals, keyboards, bass and drums. and, naturally, their sound was defined by keyboardist Steve Milliner. Excellent, early UK proto-progressive/progressive rock. Typically nice Esoteric reissue of this very obscure and rare album that deserves to be better known! Highly recommended for fans of that sound.
