New lineup and new, fourth album from this perennial, nearly all- instrumental favorite from Italy, who have been gracing us with excellent albums for a full decade now!
All of their releases are top tier and this latest has a slightly changed sound (no bassist for one thing) and remains completely top tier. Totally recommended!

"'Violated Intact' is the fourth Accordo dei Contrari album, one of the most authoritative and Admired Italian progressive jazz formations in the world. Born in Bologna in 2001. Average Rating

There are 1000's of really good recordings that put an avant twist on elements of jazz, rock and classical music. This isn't one of them. This is way better than really good! Bands like Area and Deus ex Machina may scramble the neurons in a similar way at times, but there's no way this is redundant by comparison. The recording quality, the ideas and execution from all the musicians is apex poop...should provide a much need jolt to even the most jaded of Waysiders
