Allen, Daevid - Time of Your Life 2 x CDs

This inexpensive compilation gives you two of Daevid's best albums; 1970's "Bananamoon", which has performances from Robert Wyatt, Gary Wright, Pip Pyle, Archie Leggett, Gilli Smyth, Nick Evans, Maggie Bell and others and has a very anarchic/stoned/jam quality. Also included is 1977's excellent release (his second post-Gong album) "Now is the Happiest Time of Your Life, which features Juan Biblioni and Pepe Milon on flamenco guitars, which colors the sound of the whole album, as well Sam Gopal, Victor Peraino and Xaver Riba. The albums are included complete here, but they've mixed up the order. Why? I guess so that it would be deleted and you could pick it up for $8.00!
