This is the first time on CD for this '73 album [their 2nd & one of their best] by a trio of sax, electric bass & drums. Not progressive rock, not blues, not rock, but a bit of all and maybe even a little more. Bassist/vocalist Colin Hodgkinson was considered one of the greatest bassists of the time, & his work still impresses. The others aren't slouches either!
