Basta is double bassist and composer Joris Vanvinckenroye, who is the bassist and also the composer of Aranis! In 1008, he created Basta, a project that fetured him on multi-tracked double bass.
Now, post-Aranis, he presents Basta!2, which is a duo of himself and flautist Jana Arns (also from Aranis and also his wife). Using live looping techniques and more, he layers the sound and gets a lovely orchestra ambiance. The video explains it all!
