Great package of oddball, weird, compelling, noisy, charming recordings. Bastien is a musical tinkerer who builds very low-tech machines that he calls Mecanium. Sometimes the Mecanium play alone and sometimes he plays instruments along with the Mecanium. This excellent collection features tracks from compilations and from his album from ADN, as well as a number of previously unpublished tracks.
