Good to see this incredible band getting the attention that they deserve, signing with Metal Blade (a huge metal label) for this release! This is a reissue of their first (Arctopocalypse Now... Warmageddon Later) EP and their second (Nano-Nucleonic Cyborg Summoning) EPs, both of which are out of print + four live versions of some of the songs. They are an utterly astounding, very young instrumental technical-metal trio from NYC. I saw them in 2004, and they were just fantastic beyond belief; they played their two EPs in about 32 minutes on the stage, and had cranked out more musical bytes in that time than any other band would have done in a 90 minute set! I couldn't even see where the drummer's hands were half the time the band were playing, he was moving that fast. Speed metal meets King Crimson meets Bone meets Canvas Solaris meets mathrock. The only thing I don't like about this band is that the stuff is so complicated that it takes forever for them to come up with new material. Highly recommended.
