Bondage Fruit, led by guitarist Kido Natsuki, who also plays in Korekyojinn, were part of the Japanese Zeuhl explosion of the early 1990's, along with Koenjihyakkei and Happy Family, and this is somewhat similar to these bands and similarly good! The band here includes violin, bass, drums, vibes/marimba and two female vocalists. A great album. Highly recommended.

5 stars is not enough for these guys. Fabulous blend of Eastern and Western music. I had the pleasure of meeting these folks after one of their very few U.S. shows. It is amazing when people this talented remain as humble and personable as these wonderful musicians. This, their first release, utilizes two vocalists. No actual words are spoken, they just utter syllabic melodies that spice the music with a unique character. Crimsonesque at times, but definitely in a league of there own. A must buy.
