Broughton Band, Edgar - Rockpalast DVD

SKU 21-INAKUSTIK6302
The EBB were one of the very first bands signed to EMI's psychedelic/progressive Harvest imprint, along with Pink Floyd! Largely forgotten now, but popular in their day, they were always performing at festivals and gatherings and were renowned for their great live shows. Their albums were great too, combining heavy blues rock ala Cream, Groundhogs, Taste, Skid Row with a generally more freaky and improvised/out/psych vibe. "While most of their contemporaries in London were into the ideals of love & peace in the late sixties, the Edgar Broughton Band anticipated the virago of punk rock. Recorded by the Rockpalast at the Crossroads Festival March 24, 2006 in Bonn, Germany - nearly forty years after the band's formation - this DVD features the original line up with the addition of Edgars son, Luke. The music still has the hard, rebel edge its always had and Out Demons Out is still a relevant today as it was in 1969. Bonus features include a Backstage Interview, and Bonus Track: "Green Lights" (Unplugged). Song Titles: Evening Over Rooftops, Anthem, Speak Down The Wires, The Moth, Why Can't Somebody Love Me, Refugee, Momma's Reward, American Boy Soldier, Homes Fit For Heroes, Dr Spock, Love In The Rain, Revelations, Hotel Room, Last Electioneer, Out Demons Out"
