Hot damn! After 25 years and countless bad looking bootlegs, here is the incredible performance taken from the master tapes from the BBC's archive and looking damn fine (although you just KNOW that some dillweed is going to post about the 'bad quality' of the image, conveniently forgetting that this is 26 year old video technology that was never made to be watched on a 42" television set. sigh.) This was the second of only two performances that this version of the band (including Annette) made(!!) at Oxford Polytechnic, England, on March 7th 1979. Performed by Allan Holdsworth-guitar, Dave Stewart-keyboards, Jeff Berlin-bass and Bill Bruford-drums, with wonderful (and HOT!) singer Annette Peacock guesting on a couple of tracks, this is 8 songs/43 minutes long, taken from Feels Good To Me and One of a Kind. For my money, Bruford were one of the very last of the great 70s jazz/rock bands, and man!, they were great. Recommended!
