François is, of course, best known for being in Magma for their 1st two albums and then forming Zao, one of the earlier and better French jazz/rock bands. This 1999 release is the most recent under his name and is definitely a 'jazz' album and features a great violinist I had not heard of before (Nicolas Krassik) as well as strong contributions on double bass, drums and percussion.
