A great price on this title, that usually sells for at least 50% more (check Amazon.com & see). This was the 3rd album recorded by Don & crew, but the 2nd to be released (after the much more significantly 'straighter' Safe As Milk from 1967). This 1968 album was the first album to feature the 'real' Beefheart sound as we would all get to know it soon enough! The band is: Don-vocals & harp, Jeff Cotton & Alex St. Claire-guitars, Jerry Handley-bass & John 'Drumbo' French-drums.
