For an amazing price - the same price or less than a typical single disc - you get a 3 disc set! For the person interested in the label, but wanting to be able to check the stuff out without commiting too much dinero, you get a two CD compilation of great tracks by artists like: Scott Amendola, Alex Cline, Nels Cline, Mark Dresser, Jeff Gauthier, Ben Goldberg, Bennie Maupin, Myra Melford, Alan Pasqua, Don Preston, Jenny Scheinman, G.E. Stinson and many others. For those already initiated into the amazing world of this label, you get this nice best of set plus a dvd with Nels Cline and group performing the music of Andrew Hill (over one hour long!), 20' of Bennie Maupin in Poland and 10' of Alex Cline, Jeff Gauthier and G.E. Stinson. A great deal and highly recommended!
