A very early release by humorist/poet/musician Ivor Cutler, probably best known for his appearance in Magical Mystery Tour and his albums on Virgin in the mid 1970's. This is a reissue of a 1967 artifact by "The Ivor Cutler Trio" (Ivor on vocals & keyboards, Gill Lyons-double bass and Trevor Tomkins-drums), produced by George Martin (aha! So that's how he ended up in Magical Mystery Tour!) Yow! He's even got hair in the photo. Imagine Ivor crossed with Mose Allison, and that's what this sounds like!!
