Daniel, Ted - Tapestry

SKU PORTER1503
Like it says below, a very cool blend of free-jazz and jazz-rock.
"A truly remarkable blend of 70's fusion and free-jazz, available for the first time on CD, transferred from the original master tapes, with one additional bonus track. This recording from 1974 was recorded at Ornette Coleman's Artist House and has a very spacious feel to it, due in part to the addition of a Fender Rhodes, a vibraphone and two electric basses. Great line-up of Jerome Cooper (The Revolutionary Ensemble), Khan Jamal, Richard Daniel (who along with Ted Daniel co-founded Brute Force) and Tim Ingles. A must for those interested in Miles Davis's 70's work."
