This is a really excellent version of Terry Riley's landmark classic, performed by a French guitar-centric ensemble led by Erik Baron. It includes seven classical guitarist, nine electric guitarists, seven bassists, a harpist, two cellists, percussion. It's obviously 'In C', but it's markedly different than any version I've ever heard and shows just how adaptable a piece it is.
