Led by keyboardist Rick Van Der Linden (grand piano and organ) who later founded Trace, Ekseption were one of the earliest classical rock bands. This album is filled with 'rocked up' versions of lots of Bach and Beethovan, plus Tchaikowsky, Khatchaturian, Mozart, Gershwin.
