Father, Son and Holy Ghosts was the third Embryo album, originally released in 1972. On it you can hear them between their early Krautrock phase & their soon to be jazz/rock phase. Comes with a gigantic lp-sized booklet with many photos and reproductions of concert posters.
A great one.

“Father, son and holy ghosts was the third LP by Embryo. The title was not meant to be Christian-religious - they didn't want to stoop to that level. Instead, they wanted to make fun of the so-called trinity: "Father" meant the comparatively old Mal Waldron (the group's foster father, so to speak), "son" embryo and "holy ghosts" their inspirations.
The outstanding Siegfried Schwab shines on guitar, veena and tarang and brings in Indian sounds.
The vinyl, which comes in a gatefold cover contains a deluxe booklet of 44 pages in LP format with a three-page band story in German and English, an interview, a very detailed discography, many repros of posters, often in large format, a concert list from 1969 to 2000, many photos etc. Limited to 1000 hand-numbered copies.”
