Eneide - Uomini Umili Popoli Liberi (expanded/remastered) (mini-lp sleeve)

This 1972 album by this Italian quintet (vocals, dual guitars, flute, organ/mini moog, bass & drums) was supposed to be released on the legendary Trident label, but for some reason it never came out until the 1990s! The band obviously were big fans of VDGG, as they thank them all over the cover, but I don't really hear a big VDGG influence. Some fine organ passages are the highlights for me! In any event, it's a very good early 70's Italian progressive rock release. This 2011 reissue is on deluxe papersleeve, remastered by Eneide's Gianluigi Cavaliere, and features extended liner notes, plus two bonus tracks from an unreleased second project.
