Another extraordinarily good archival find in fine sound. E.S. were a progressive hard rock Krautrock outfit, featuring an excellent heavy guitarist who reminds me of a cross of early Martin Barre/Mick Abrahams with a bit of Jimi Hendrix tossed in! The quartet also included a reed player who mostly played flute as well as bass & drums. Long, heavy instrumental jams that might be comparable to the heaviest instrumental bits of early Tull, due to the guitar style & flute. They had a contract to record for OHR, but they basically just never got around to it! This is the 1st ever release of any of their recordings!!
