Etron Fou were one of the premier French avant/progressive bands from 1974-1986, & a founding member of R.I.O. This reissues the Etron's 2nd album; their first great release, which was originally recorded 11/77, and self-released in 1978. This version of the band: Francis Grand (saxes, vocals), Ferdinand Richard (bass, vocals) and Guigou Chenevier (drums, vocals) was active between 9/76 and 3/78 and did more touring than any other version of the band; this is the band that I saw open for Henry Cow 6/77 & who basically blew Cow off the stage! The sound is great as is the packaging; this has some great rare photos I had never seen before. Highly recommended French musical mayhem!
