“Completed Focussed is new studio recordings of the tracks Focus 1 through to a brand new Focus 12. This is an excellent recording, a partner to the 2014 Golden Oldies album. Focus IV actually improves on the original to me as it removes the synthesizer work that plagued Mother Focus, and its nice to have Focus 6 that was a Thijs solo track originally. A 5 star album.
The Blu Ray is a crystal clear recording of a 2017 gig in Rio, its a storminglive performance with a nice mix of classics, new & obscure titles. A 4 star blu ray.
The set is let down by the blu ray soundtrack over 2 CDs. Away from the visuals it’s a muddy recording, obviously from the soundboard and adds nothing to the blu ray and is not as good as the Live in Europe recording for sound quality. A 3 stars live album.”
