When Richard Pinhas was recently in the USA in May, 2011, I heard great things about this band who were opening for them who were a young, post-whatever, Magma-influenced group. This is their second album and it's really good and it's vinyl only.

Ga'an are currently a trio of Lindsay Powell - vocals, electric piano, synth, Seth Sher - drums, Tyson Torstensen - synths, bass guitar, synth bass, electric piano. This album still has the Magma vibe of their first release but adds a little more of that evil vibe from Goblin, Guapo (Black Equus / Black Oni) and Zombi into the stew. Limited edition of 666 copies, the limited edition number of the beast. Really great. Highly recommended.
