Thrilled to see this rather obscure and completely great 1972 electric jazz album get a reissue - and from Japan! - at a reasonable price; afaik, this has never-before been available on CD and has been unavailable for some 40 years!
Using some of the same personnel as on 1971's Guerilla Band", Hal's 2nd electric release is in a similar, if somewhat less 'chilly' and somewhat a bit more 'typical early' jazz/rock sounding. It's still a really good one, although a hair behind Guerilla Band, imo. Still highly recommended.
