This is an amazing archival release of early and unreleased Grobschnitt, recorded just before they recorded their first album. These are pretty much perfect quality recordings that include much of the material that would be featured on their first album but there are also many unreleased pieces too. Additionally you get some live material, including a version of Die Sinfonie which is over 30' long and which Grobschnitt fans know can be considered sort of a early proto-version of Solar Music! This would be great under any circumstances, but the 1st Grobschnitt album has never been released on CD, so this is like having a better and bigger version!
