I met Shane Prendville recently when he was on tour as a member of Cheer-Accident. This is his own project.

"Guzzlemug is Shane Prendiville - Guitar, vocals, & random things. Tom Kelly - Bass, vocals, & random things. Charlie Werber - Drums, percussion, and very random things. We have recorded on our first album, Away With the Wind & Noise, some other oddly random people. We formed in Minneapolis in the late fall of 2006, are currently moving to Chicago as of 2011." "Guzzlemug is gutter grunge played with grad-school sophistication; an aesthetic treatise on modern metal cults, tastefully avoiding but achieving a pristine equilibrium between the blatancy of overproduced Dream Theater prog, nerd-o power metal and the low-end distorted death metal bass sounds sweeping basements of yesteryear. In other words they have a goofy sense of humor, are insanely badass musicians, but keep it heavy, interesting and don’t show off too much. While there are a lot of hacks out there, there are a lot of non-hacks.
