Hackett, Steve - Spectral Mornings CD (expanded)

SKU 15-CHARISMA 4017
2005 remaster with bonus tracks and new liner notes.

"Remastered this year at Steve Hackett's MAP studios by engineer Benedict Fenner, in direct collaboration with Steve. Packaged in a jewel-case surrounded by a card slip-case featuring the original cover artwork. Spectral’s bonus material includes fascinating alternate studio versions of Every Day, Virgin and the Gypsy, Tigermoth and The Ballad of the Decomposing Man (featuring The Office Party). Also the 12” single version of Clocks released in September 1979 and the live cuts which originally appeared on the B side - an acoustic set of Etude In A min., Blood on the Rooftops excerpt, Horizons & Kim and a version of Tigermoth. The live recordings were made on 11th June 1979 at the Pavillion de Paris. 'Spectral Mornings' was arguably the definitive Hackett album of the seventies. The strong lyrical instrumentals combined with the cutting edge of Hackett's guitar style not only received critical acclaim but were consistently used for many films and TV programmes."
