Hammill's third solo album was recorded not too long after Van Der Graaf Generator imploded. Like the excellent previous album Chameleon In the Shadow Of The Night, it's an excellent work that blends a very intense singer/songwriter esthetic with more avant/progressive tendencies ala VDGG. Has performances by all of VDGG here and there and even guitarist Randy California on one track. The final track, A Louse Is Not A Home, is an amazing work, and is Van Der Graaf Generator in all but name. [Charisma]
