Harvey, Richard - Divisions On A Ground: An Introduction To The Recorder and Its Music CD

SKU 28-TECD 441
This is the first time that this solo album by one of the founders of Gryphon has been issued on CD outside of a very hard to find Japanese-only pressing, 15 years ago...

“Richard Harvey began playing the recorder at the age of four. After graduating from the Royal College of Music in 1972 he worked with early music ensemble Music Reservata before joining fellow RCM alumnus Brian Gulland in forming the prog/rock/folk band Gryphon.
Later work found him recording with Sir Paul McCartney, Kate Bush, Elvis Costello, John Williams and many more. In the mid '70s he became increasingly involved in composing film and television and in 1991 his collaboration with Costello on Alan Bleasdale's GBH won them a joint BAFTA.
More recently he scores The Da Vinci Code and played on such films as The Lion King, Enemy of the State and Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban.”
