Hawkwind - Live Legends (aka Live Bedrock TV) DVD (special)

In 1990, Central TV in the UK had a number of 'classic rock bands' reform for the sake of documenting and broadcasting their performances. There were some real good ones including Caravan (original lineup), Hatfield and the North and this Hawkwind performance. You gotta remember that when this was done, DVDs weren't ubiquitous and there wasn't any way to see this stuff except for this show and people were hugely excited about this rare opportunity to see these musicians and bands. 1990 wasn't excactly a high point for Hawkwind in general, but given this opportunity, the group really rose to the occaision, with a great and very short-lived (and otherwise not documented?) line-up of: Dave Brock, Alan Davey, Harvey Bainbridge, Richard Chadwick, Simon House and Bridget Wishart. The quality is excellent as is the performance and the song selection. If you don't already own this, you know what to do!
