Listen, if you don't know this album, you really don't know what you are missing. This is the 1st album by Journey and it features Gregg Rolle (Hammond organ and vocals) and Neil Schon (guitar) both fresh from Santana's early greatness + drummer Aynsley Dunbar and bassist Ross Valory. This combines fusion and 1975-style progressive rock and even has three instrumental tracks. If you only know Neal Schon as the wanker husband of Michele Salahi, you won't believe what a great motherfucking guitarist he was over 35 years ago, channeling Jeff Beck and Carlos Santana. Seriously, this is genuinely good stuff, even if they all became big wankers later...
