As I think I've mentioned before, I started my career in music retail in a store that sold a lot of metal, which wasn't something I was really familiar with or - honestly - particularly crazy about. This album, however, knocked my socks off from the 1st time I heard it. Loud, a shockingly tight dual guitar assault and Rob Halford's unbelievable vocals; speed metal started here, I think.

Completely agree. Not one single metal band sounds like this, not then and not even now.

Yes ,one of their best. Featuring "Why do you have to die to be a hero" tribute to the classic bands/personages of the past. Halford emulates Janis Joplin and more along it's playing time.
