"One of the biggest highlights in Koivistoinen's career. And also one of my personal favourites when it comes to Finnish jazz in general. 3rd Version includes four amazing tracks with tremendous instrumental work. The line-up playing here is just incredible and they do amazing job.
The album closer "Latin Power" is a lot different from the other three songs because it's mostly just a free improvisation piece. But I like it as well although the jazz fusion moments are better. Overall I can say that this album is an awesome totality. Not far from five stars in my opinion. Koivistoinen and his band are really showing their skills here."-rateyourmusic
