In early 2003 Jonn Buzby relocated to Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and reformed Land of Chocolate. The new line-up features lead guitarist John Covach, a long-time prog veteran who is also one of the leading experts on the history of progressive rock. This four-track EP consists of demos the band recorded in preparation for their second full-length CD. While that second album is currently slated for release in 2004, listeners can get an extended sneak peek at the new CD, since this EP runs twenty-two minutes. Buzbys songs show a greater maturity on this release, while Covachs playing provides a new level of virtuosic excitement to the bands sound. [L.O.C.]
