Led Zeppelin - III (remastered)

After the monster, monster hit that Led Zeppelin II was, the band surprisingly chose not to replicate that album but to do something very different. This very progressive folk-oriented album was the result. Sure, there's still some rockers on here (The Immigrant Song, which opens the album intoning about 'the hammer of the gods', for one and the great blues Since I've Been Loving You as well), but the basic m.o. here is as much acoustic guitars as electrics! One of my favorites of theirs.
