Mexico is well known for its fine contributions to progressive rock, but I am still surprised by the ambitiousness of this fine release (which) equally emphasizes the lush, symphonic attributes of classical prog with the forward-looking ambition of the RIO movement. Consisting of a 35 minute, 7-part masterwork and a pensive 9 minute closer...one might occasionally be reminded of Jade Warrior (Island period), Thinking Plague, or even Opus Avantra...a wonderful, mystical, dangerous opus...-Expos.
