John Martyn started his career as a fairly straight-forward folkie, but he very rapidly began to incorporate jazz influences and jazz instrumentalists along with his acoustic and device-laden acoustic guitar and distinctive and wonderful vocals. This was the second of his two albums with his (then) wife Beverly, and this 1970 release is another one of Joe Boyd's brilliant, timeless Witchseason Productions works. An excellent album and the sunny, 60's vibe really shines through for me. Includes 1 bonus track.
