Mark McGuire was the guitarist of the great US electronic outfit Emeralds.
This new, vinyl-only release is very interesting as he plays acoustic guitar on one side and electric guitar on the other side. Some of the electric stuff sounds more like Ash Ra Tempel's "Inventions For Electric Guitar" than anything else I've ever heard! Pretty great!
