Guitarist John McLaughlin has released a large number of really great albums during his career, but this is one of his best and one of my personal favorites. His 2nd solo album from 1970, this is his most psychedelic, with great guitarwork and some of Larry Young's most fantastic organ playing, backed by Billy Rich on bass and Buddy Miles on drums. This album probably goes in my top 20 of all time, I love it that much. Very different from anything this great musician did before or after, but a path he never followed further for whatever reason. If you don't own this, you have to buy this; it's as simple as that. Highly recommended!
