A French band who recorded for the Crypto label and released their one and only album in 1977, which has never been reissued before! The band consisted of Robert Duantet (guitars, vocals), Thierry Scaduto (organ, synthesizer, piano, flute, vocals), Jackie Poillot (bass, bass pedals) and Carmine Versage (drums). "A group playing melodic progressive rock with a lush character reminsicent of early Genesis, Moody Blues, Cressida, Rare Bird and Fruupp. Still, Metabolisme have their own distinctive character and used French lyrics. The five long tracks have convincing melodies, pleasant vocal harmonies and good use of the dynamic range. Among the better bands from the second half of the seventies, Metabolisme were victims of the changing fashions of the times."-Scented Gardens Of The Mind
