Great collection of Moondog's early EPs....one star removed for lack of info in the booklet. BUT if you have never heard MOONDOG , this IS a great and cheap start on your voyage into his world. The sound is very good....and it is really his early music ,but another GREAT feature to this collection is that it has more variation than what was included on his first 2 LPs. That and a longer running time than those first two LPs makes it a better view of Moondog's beginnings. Start here....then buy the Honest John's Records collection (Viking...) ,that will send you farther on, if you get into Moondog's world and music.
