Recorded in January, 2004 with Sun Ra Arkestra members Marshall Allen and Knoel Scott (alto sax), these pieces began their life as spontaneous improvisations and were gradually molded into their current form here by overdubbing and editing. Obviously a very different record from most of their releases, it might be comparable to a jazzier version of side two of Unrest by Henry Cow, in that they used a similar working method of recording improvisations and then sculpting them in the studio afterwards.
