The classic first (and best!) album from this Spanish band is reissued and available once again, after being out of print for a number of years! This is a fabulous 1976 Spanish melodic progressive/fusion album with big swatches of influences from Spanish folk music. They were a quartet of keyboards (Joan Albert Amargos, of Feliu i Joan Albert fame), guitar, bass and drums, plus other instruments as guests. This well needed reissue of the reissue is from the master tapes. Highly recommended.
"This Catalan outfit was founded by two original Maquina! members, Enric Herrera and Luigi Cabanach, in 1975, together with Carles Benavent and Joan Albert Amargós, who actually wrote all these compositions. This is their debut album, from 1976, originally on the Edigsa-Zeleste label. Brilliant jazz-rock and one of the top names in the so called 'Rock Laietà' scene formed in Barcelona at the time."
