Really excellent French Zappa-tribute band and more, although this is mostly an album of Zappa compositions. The band is led by director and bassist Christophe Delbrouck and also features Matthieu Metzger-saxophones, electronics, Jeff Marschalle-guitar & vocals, Fabrice Barre-clarinets, Patrick Desoyer-drums, Jean-Yves Monjauze-keyboards, Frank Quintard-marimba, vibraphone, percussion. They even make fun of Ben Watson here (well, they are probably paying tribute to him, but I will be happy to think they are making fun of him) so that's another reason to stock this! Very, very good. Frank's music lives on in the hearts and performances of this very talented ensemble (and others too, of course), even if some people (cough cough) do their best (cough cough) to interfere with paying tribute to the great composer.
