Necromandus - Live CD (Mega Blowout Sale)

SKU 23-AACD 050
Necromandus was an obscure British band whose roots go back to the late 60s. By 1972, after extensive gigging, they caught the eye of Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, who began managing the band.
Hailed as a 'second Sabbath", but with a progressive rock edge, the band sounded somewhat like a cross between Sabbath, Yes and Cressida with folk influences as well.
They recorded an album for Vertigo in 1973 and started opening for Sabbath and Tony Kaye's Badger, but the album was not released!
This is a rare live recording, made in March 1973. It is of modest bootleg quality, but if you are a fan, it is listenable and it includes several songs that never showed up anywhere else.
