O Terco - Tributo ao Sorriso

SKU Editio DB 060
One of the first progressive bands from Brazil, O Terço (meaning rosary beads) first formed in 1968, but didn't hit its stride until the mid '70s. Personnel changes would become part of the bands dynamic, with Sergio Hinds assuming the role of band anchor. They also managed to mix in other styles, like folk, heavy metal, and funk. This collects their earliest recordings, originally released on EPs in mono only, and, as far as I can tell, never reissued until now and also now issued in stereo for the first time ever. You can hear the influences of The Beatles and the Moody Blues, among others here. For the psych fan.
