Very fine collaboration between Frank Pahl and Shaking Ray Levi (Dennis Palmer and Bob Stagner). The mirror image of Pahl-Mer, this one contains improvisations recorded in April 2012. Titles all refer to the werewolf, yet the music is much more melancholy-laden than horror/unexplained/transformation-oriented. Piano chords, delicate percussion work, a ukulele trio – I hear a lot of tenderness in these instrumental improvisations. Sound quality is inferior to Pahl-Mer, but the music, though very different, is just as convincing. Definitely a strong pair of releases from good ol’ Frank."-Francois Couture/Monsieur Delire
