This consists of tracks recorded while the bands was working on Fear of a Blank Planet, and as someone in a very positive way said when hearing them, "These are outtakes?". Robert Fripp adds some significant lead guitarwork to one track the whole thing does not smack of 'lesser quality', but just of not fitting into the concept of the album. Nice packaging as well.
